The wounds in the region at the Afghanistan and Pakistan border shaken by a 7.5-scale earthquake last October are relieved. The Turkish Red Crescent is providing also the support to heal the wounds in Pakistan, where hundreds of people have lost their lives due to the earthquake.
Pakistan Delegation Head of the Turkish Red Crescent, who had previously determined the needs in the areas affected from the earthquake, provided nearly 12 tons of food supplies obtained from the local sources to the families. In addition, 2 thousand blankets were distributed to the families.
Continuing its determinations in the region, Turkish Red Crescent will continue its humanitarian aid efforts in coordination with the Pakistan Red Crescent officials.
