Sharing Red Crescent’s activities and experiences in humanitarian aid on every platform, Dr. Kinik, President of Turkish Red Crescent, attended the Annual Conference for Effective Partnerships and Information Sharing for Better Humanitarian Action in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Underlining the need for a new vision in humanitarian aid, Mr. Kinik added: “Reform is a must”.
Many representatives from hundreds of humanitarian aid organizations all around the globe attended “7th Annual Conference for Effective Partnerships and Information Sharing for Better Humanitarian Action” organized by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (IIT).
Stressing humanitarian crises in Syria and Iraq, the very neighbors of Turkey in particular, President Kinik briefed on aids to such geographies extended as Red Crescent. Depicting that humanitarian crises encountered in many Islamic geographies had costed countless lives and victimized millions, Mr. Kinik emphasized that humanitarian aid world had to adopt a new vision and promulgate a new action plan, virtually make a reform for from now on.
