Painted products, jewelry, clothes, pictures and toys made for children in the workshops of the Turkish Red Crescent Society Community Centers are exhibited in the "8th March International Women’s day". The exhibition included 233 pieces of handicraft products.
Community Centers opened an exhibition for the İnternational Women’s day in Istanbul Yenikapı Metro station which International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) funded. The President of Turkish Red Crescent Society (TRCS) Dr. Kerem Kınık, General Secretary of the Red Crescent Hüseyin Can, Metro Istanbul executives and a large number of citizens attended. In exhibition there were 7 Community Center products that has shown. Kilis, Sanliurfa, Konya, Ankara, Bursa and İstanbul Community Centers handmade products exhibited in metro station.

The President of TRCS Dr. Kerem Kınık said, “The works of our Syrian women are produced here by hand, the ones we teach them to make their lives resemble. These Syrian guests in Turkey who are trying to keep alive are at the Community Centers opened by the Red Crescent, both learning Turkish and getting a profession by taking Turkish education. This is actually a harmony center. We teach citizenship duties in order to adapt them to the life conditions in Turkey and their legal regulations.”
