As is known, the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) and Israel Magen David Adom (MDA) as the active members of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies which has 186 members, have jointly responded to the incidents occurred in 31.05.2010 on time.
In order to evacuate injured Turkish citizens in the close cooperation with MDA; Turkish Red Crescent has deployed a team immediately composed of 1 disaster expert, 1 international relations delegate and 2 physicians to Tel-Aviv on 01.06.2010. The team has welcomed at the airport by the representatives of MDA and they have paid visits to the relevant hospitals where the patients were hospitalized by the participation of all concerned authorities.
During the evacuation process, on one hand, the Turkish Red Crescent coordinating with Turkish Prime Ministry, Turkish Republic Ministry of Health and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish General Staff, Turkish Embassy to Tel-Aviv, Turkish General Consulate to Jerusalem, on the other hand, MDA working in close cooperation with Israel Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Security Forces as well as all relevant authorities, the injured Turkish citizens have evacuated to Turkey in 2 days.
Due to the fact that MDA has spared no effort to support the Turkish Red Crescent, the unique cooperation has been performed within the fundamental rules and principles of Red Cross-Red Crescent Movement.
