Organization Process of Gratitude Oblation Donation

After receipt of the gratitude oblation donations through bank, call center, branches, website or mobile app;

• An SMS is delivered to donor, which confirms receipt of the donation.
• Names of principal donor is read aloud and religious duties are discharged.
• Slaughter process takes place via certified butchers under the surveillance of a veterinarian by observing Islamic slaughter rules, at the modern slaughterhouses which meet hygiene standards.
• For slaughters taking place locally, they are performed under the control of a Notary Public within 30 days after the receipt of the gratitude oblation donation.

After slaughter process completed;

• An SMS is delivered to donor, which confirms that process completed.
• After completion of the slaughter process of gratitude oblation, meats are delivered to our soup kitchens, old people's homes, student dormitories and branches, where they are served as food to people in need.

A part of the meats is packaged as a canned food, and distributed to people in need throughout the year.

• Through 168 Turkish Red Crescent free call centre and donation lines,
