- An SMS is delivered to donor, which confirms receipt of the donation.
- Names of proxy owners are read aloud and religious duties are discharged.
- Slaughter process takes place via certified butchers under the surveillance of a veterinarian by observing Islamic slaughter rules, at the modern slaughterhouses which meet hygiene standards.
- For slaughters taking place locally, they are performed under the control of a Notary Public within 30 days after the receipt of the gratitude oblation donation.
- An SMS is delivered to donor, which confirms that process completed.
- After completion of the slaughter process of gratitude oblation, meats are delivered to our soup kitchens, nursing homes, student dormitories and branches, where they are served as food to people in need.
- A part of the meats is packaged as a canned food, and distributed to people in need throughout the year.
- Through the Turkish Red Crescent donation payments system and donation accounts (bank accounts) in the banks
- Via electronic process on the Turkish Red Crescent website using a credit card,
- Through 168 Turkish Red Crescent free call centre and donation lines,
- From the Turkish Red Crescent Postal Cheque account number 2868 at all PTT Operation Centres,
- You can make donation from all the Red Crescent branches in the country (you can reach our branch addresses from our website).
Sacrificing the animals as vow, which you have given proxy to the Turkish Red Crescent, and delivering the meat to the people in need are performed within and outside the country as required.
Votive Donation Organization Process
After the receipt of votive donations through bank, call center, branches, website or mobile app:
- An SMS is delivered to donor, which confirms receipt of the donation.
- Names of proxy owners are read aloud and religious duties are discharged.
