July 15th Solidarity in Turkish Red Crescent Community Centers Community Centers

Community Centers, which provide psychosocial support, protection, referral and training services to many displaced people and local people in our country, gave a solidarity message in its centers and on the streets in the day of Democracy and National Unity on July 15th.

With the participation of Syrian beneficiaries and beneficiaries from other nations, as well as of Turkish local people, group works on “Force comes from unity” and “Democracy and Togetherness” by highlighting the importance of unity and togetherness were organized in the cities of Adana, Ankara, Bursa, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul (Sultanbeyli), Istanbul (Sultanbeyli), İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Kilis, Konya, Mardin, Mersin and Şanlıurfa where  15 Community Centers are located.
 Paintings and drawings with the focus of democracy, love and fraternity as well as 15 July-focus puzzle work was made with children beneficiaries of TRC Community Centers. Adult beneficiaries, on the other hand, participated some activities such as glass painting, sewing with July 15th designs. In various public transport areas, a video of the Turkish Red Crescent Community Centers, which was specially created for July 15th, was carried out to raise awareness and solidarity.
“July 15th is not a national solidarity day for only Turkish nation, but it is a day for everyone living in Turkey".
Syrian beneficiaries participating in Community Centers within the scope of Democracy and National Union Day on July 15 stated that they are in solidarity with their Turkish people and share their feelings with the letters they wrote. There was also a unity message on the videos  footages the Syrian beneficiaries and volunteers took:"15 July is not a national solidarity day for only Turkish nation, but it is a day for everyone living in Turkey", “We are Turkey together, our biggest victory is to be in unity against our enemies”

As a part of the Turkish Red Crescent which has always stood by its people, 15 Community Centers were also on streets with its staff and volunteers. Community Centers served for the citizens and distributed some food for the souls of democracy martries in activities organized together with  Governorate, Municipalities and other units of Turkish Red Crescent. “We are embraced all pain together, we all relieved our pain together” message was given in the events that took place late at night.
