Türk Kızılay's Kitchen in Gaza Resumes Food Preparation

Dosya

Türk Kızılay kitchen in Gaza, partially repaired after damage from Israeli attacks, has resumed providing hot meals. Türk Kızılay continues its relief efforts in Gaza with its local staff and volunteers as resources are running critically low. They source food supplies from within Gaza and distribute them to the Gazan people affected by Israeli attacks in collaboration with the Palestinian Red Crescent.

In addition to this, Türk Kızılay has reactivated its existing kitchen which had become non-operational due to the escalation of conflicts. Türk Kızılay's kitchen in Gaza now provides hot meals to 500 families daily.

Türk Kızılay, in collaboration with the Palestinian Red Crescent, continues its efforts to facilitate the passage of aid through Egypt's Rafah Border Crossing. They also plan to provide urgent health supplies and generator support to the region via planes from Turkey. With the humanitarian aid materials they deliver to Egypt and the materials they source from the region, Türk Kızılay aims to meet the increasing needs of civilians within Gaza.

Türk Kızılay is Ready to Aid Civilians in Palestine

Dosya

The recent events have led to an increased need for assistance in Palestine and Gaza, while Türk Kızılay, which has been extending a helping hand to those in need in Palestine for many years, is preparing to meet the needs of civilians. Türk Kızılay is making preparations to provide support to the civilians affected by the conflict with humanitarian aid materials sourced from the region once a safe environment is established.

Obstacles imposed by Israel on the transportation of aid materials directly from Turkey to the Gaza Strip have created challenges. Nonetheless, just as in the past, Türk Kızılay continues to provide uninterrupted aid to Palestine today, conducting humanitarian aid efforts in both Palestine and Israel. With its local staff, Türk Kızılay continues its aid efforts in Gaza, while also making efforts to deliver more aid to the region.

Türk Kızılay working urgently to meet the basic food, hygiene, shelter, and medical needs of civilians in Palestine and Gaza, has launched a campaign called 'Let's Heal the Wounds of Palestine Together' in response to the high demand from citizens who wish to support meeting these needs. Türk Kızılayt plans to provide support to civilians in Palestine and Gaza by sourcing aid materials from the region through collaboration with its partners from the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, namely the Egyptian Red Crescent and the Palestine Red Crescent, once a safe humanitarian corridor is established.
